Also noteworthy are his wealth of experiences and leadership skills gained through serving at various of local community,  regional, national and international institutions, association and organizations.

Essaw Gebeto was born in Yakima Sadoye village near the town of Gesuba, Graduated from Sodo comprehensive high school, pursued the Law School of Addis Ababa University, worked for the government 11 years and moved to the US in 1997 with his family. He received undergraduate degree from San Jose State Universities in CA, and MBA degree in Strategic Leadership & Project Management from University of Amberton in Dallas TX. He works in Dallas as a security and risk manager and has tremendously blessed four children and wife Senedu. He joined AWANA in 2017 and actively serving the organization as secretary. God has fulfilled the dreams of his father.
